We collaborated with filmmaker & animator Luke Mistruzzi from Powerline Films to make this psychedelic video for Toronto-based band Language Arts. The video features footage from the streets of Hamilton, the beaches of Oaxaca, and the mountains of BC — paired with found footage and projected through a giant kaleidoscope. Our short documentary, co-produced with Tangent Motion Pictures, screens at the 15th Annual Regent Park Film Festival. A local favourite, this festival is Toronto’s only free community film festival! Today, as Regent Park undergoes a fifteen year re-development, the Festival works to bring together the many diverse communities that exist in the neighbourhood to enjoy and engage with film as a means of artistic expression and a catalyst for change.
We are officially green lit to start production on our next film THE HAIRCUT with support from CBC Short Docs. We look forward to sharing more updates as we head on this next adventure.

The Canada Council in partnership with the Independent Media Arts Alliance commissioned a series of short films on the winners of the 2017 Governor General’s Awards in Visual and Media Arts. Third Culture Media had the pleasure to make a film on Toronto-based visual artist, Shelagh Keeley. Directed by Maya Annik Bedward, the film is now available online and on Air Canada’s in-flight entertainment system, spring 2017.

The comprehensive five-day mentorship provides insights into production, branding, acquisition, strategy, research and scheduling, from a broadcaster perspective. We just launched The Gaze on the Toronto Radio Project (TRP)!
